Slab Leveling

Sometimes concrete slabs shift because of changes in the underground terrain.  This creates an unleveled slab, and the results begin to show.

Instead of removing the current slabs, reworking the terrain, and laying down new slabs, often less invasive (and less expensive) solutions are available.

Sinking cement slabs can often be restored by a process called Mud Jacking.

How does it work?

Mud jacking is a relatively simple procedure.  Think of it as sticking a matchbook under the leg of a wobbly table.  In this case, the table is a slab of cement, and the matchbook is an injection of grout.

Small holes are drilled to allow the grout injection to reach the underside of the cement slab.  Once grout has been strategically added to restore level to your cement slab, the small holes are patched up leaving only minimal cosmetic evidence of the procedure.
